current FSW process timeline

Hi Guys,

I am newbie here and forgive me if this is a stupid question. The only reason, I am posting is because I tried to find this information but could not.

What is the current process and timeline for applying in FSW category. I see terms like AOR, PRR, etc that are kind of scaring me because i don't know what they mean. Can some one please write the process in plain english like.

Step 1: Send all documents on the cic office to Nova Scotia office.

dont worry bro here most of us ( xcpt some xperts like qorax, saki, mezo etc) were novices when v entered the forum. keep watching all threads & u will come to know of them as days pass by.
by the way it takes a minimum of 12 months for the VO(VISA office _what is ur Vo ?) to address ur case but they send u an AOR( acknowledgement of receipt) of all your dox confirming as having recevd & will give u a file number starting with 'B' in most cases & advise u that if u dont hear from the VO within 8 months u may contact them. so send all ur docs in one go including PCC,IELTS(in original) & all the other dox as reqstd by them within the stipulated time & start praying all ur good Gods & keep interacting with all good souls in this forum to gain information .

Thanks tallprince. My vo is buffalo, which i gather from this forum is really slow. As you said, will send docs and pray.
