Dear all,
I'm a canadian myself sponsoring my husband to become a PR in Canada. We've decided to do it outland. Now I'm working on the forms but not clear on a few quetions. So here is the situation:
My husband is a citizen of Taiwan which is one of those visa exempt countries. So he came to visit me in this past July and planned to stay for six months, which means he will leave Canada and go back to Taiwan by the end of 2012. We plan on sending the applications out in Octobor while he's still here with me. So my questions are the following:
1.As to "current country of residence", should he put down "Taiwan" or "Canada"? I mean, by the time my sponsorship gets approved, he's probably in Taiwan already. But right at the time of filling out the forms he is physically in Canada. So kinda a tricky question.
2. If " Taiwan" is the one to put down, as to the question" Are you currently living with your sponsor?, should he answer "Yes" or "No"? I mean, it's the same scenario. He's with me now, but is it considered "living", since he is just visiting for six months?
We are so confused. Any quidence would be greatly appreciated.
