Current country of residence. ?

Hello I am filling IMM0008 for spousal application. It's asking " Current Country of Residence". Here's the situation,
I am working in Canada and because i had marriage i moved to India and working remotely until April this year and i will move back to Canada in 3 months. In this. case, whats my current country of residence? "India" or "Canada"? Please advice . Thanks

Are you sponsor or applicant? Is the sponsor a PR? Where is sponsor?

Residence is where you are - would be different if for a short visit but three months, your address is india.

I got married in the middle of my PR process, and i am working remotely in India for about 3 months. I included my spousal application while i am in india. I will however, get back to Canada in a month.

You are NOT sponsoring your spouse. If you are applying for PR, you are adding your spouse to your application. So your question does not apply to this section of the forum (family sponsorship). Normally, for a PR to sponsor their spouse, they NEED to be residing in Canada. PR application cannot be sent while PR lives outside of Canada.

BUT since you are not yet a PR, I do not know if your route of PR application is allowed outside of Canada. I think your residence is where you currently live.
