Hi all,
ITA received during last draw and eligible for CEC as I have 1 year work experience, I was inland until mid-Oct 2022 when I had to leave Canada and will not be returning to Canada for another 6 months, I do have a valid PGWP + mailing address in canada, but technically my lease agreement has been cancelled with my landlord since I have to be away due to family reasons.
My question -> In the CEC application question asks "Current Country of Residence", I am inclined to answer Canada as I consider myself a resident in Canada and only temporarily away, thus for the Address History information I have mentioned inland but for the personal history I have mentioned out of Canada. Is this correct?
Please advise if this is OK, I understand from AOR that process can take upto a year, so I not concerned about returning back to Canada as I have a valid status in the country. But I am concerned about misrepresentation.
Thank you!
