>>>> Indian currency is not convertable here. You can make bank draft of POF in CAD and deposit the same here in your bank after opening the account. Conversion - reconversion from currency takes a lot of commission by banks and better have your draft in CAD.

2. How much cash can be accepted as proof of landing fund.
>>>>> They will accept any amount but you would have to disclose at the time of landing that you have more than $10000 in cash. You need to give explanation regarding it. The country from where you would be flying would also be having restrictions on flying with cash. I dont think it is safe to bring huge amount by cash.

3. If we take traveler excheque(tc) how much Canadian bank charge if we en-cash them in Canada.
>>>> I dont know

4. How much Canadian bank charges on en-cashing bank draft and money order.
...>>>>. Bank Draft encashment charges are from $0 to $15, depending upon which account you are having with the bank. Banks takes 5 working days to credit the amount in your account if the draft is payable in the city you are submitting for realisation. If it is outstation then it can take 30 days.

My advice : Bring some money in CAD cash for initial days for your use and remaining in the shape of Bank draft. Once you have your local bank account with access card & credit card you would not require cash in pocket.
I hope it helps you.

The Currency that will be accepted at any Canadian Port should be in canadian Dollars only.

Bank Drafts are the best way to bring money in. You can bring any amount you like, but in Canadian Dollars.

You can carry upto 10K in Cash in Canadian Dollars.

Traveller Cheques are acceptable but difficult to convert. Check the banks online which will accept your cheques.

Do not fiddle with the proof of funds, You must bring the required funds, in Canadian Dollars only.

Funds over 10K you must declare.
