Good Day everyone!
So here it goes.
I am a culinary student from the Philippines searching for a chef apprenticeship in Ontario. I have only rendered 3 months in an On-Job-Training at a 5 star hotel, though that's as far my experience goes. I would really want the opportunity to both utilize and hone my skills in this field that I genuinely am passionate about. I have an uncle living in Ontario where I will be staying are if fate would allow me to. Now my financial needs is another issue. Due to perpetual old ways of a Chinese father, it has seemed that fate being on my side may not be the only thing I should be asking for. He wants we to change my course to be able to ride my country's economy. Though I know what he wants is the best for my future. But I just couldn't let it go. I had to fight for my passion. And well, it had caused me his support (including financially). I was not able to participate in my US internship that was my ticket to the bigger world of culinary arts and perhaps my very future! It is also a goodbye to my diploma. To this day, I have just finished the 3 month internship locally. And after hours of serious delving online on my situation, in simpler terms, I have idea where to go. There are tons of things I'd like to learn, explore, experience. Be a better chef as well as an individual. I would like to be able to provide for myself and my family. Which is also factor why I'd like work abroad. Working overseas is a win win situation you see. I wish I could explain myself further through words. But hey. Thank you for reading and I would verily appreciate it if you could help.
Sincerely,
Rose
