It depends on what skill set you have and where you are looking to work in Canada.
For example, Alberta is hiring semi-skilled TFW regardless of nationality. However, many jobs that require a university degree require either Canadian education (or another commonwealth or western country) or specialized upgrading and/or licensing inside Canada.

I. E. A two year nursing degree from any country is not valid for nurses in Canada. You must possess a four year degree and undergo a certification before working in Canada.
