Hi there !

I am an international student & going to finish my master's from UQO. I'm not a french speaker.
My transcript & certificate will be given in french, besides i did my courses in french also.

I have written by master's thesis in english.

Does it make any problem to obtain the CSQ under PEQ program ?

Regards

So you did your Master's study in French. That makes you eligible for peq then. What surprises me
is : How can a course of study in French allow you writing thesis in English? This can be problematic
if MIDI starts verifying your credentials.

All the best

Yes, you have take a french test or complete one of the eligibile french programs. The following paragraph is from the quebec immigiration website:

If you are a graduate or future graduate, you can submit:
  • a final transcript attesting to the successful completion of a study program in Québec pursued entirely in French (including the master’s and doctoral theses, if applicable) or;
  • an attestation of results of a French test or diploma recognized by the Ministère that demonstrates attainment of a level of competency in oral comprehension and oral production of 7 or higher on the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français des personnes immigrantes adultes or to its equivalent (level B2 or higher of the Common European Framework of Reference).
You can see that it is mentioned that the thesis should be in french as well. I had the same situation, I studied at Laval university and passed my courses in french but my thesis was in english.
