I am studying at a technical college and so far have got passing grades, the profession I'm studying is in the Quebec training list. However before switching to this college I have been in another school and have failed several courses as well as have had to withdraw due to family problems. Will this affect my chance of receiving the CSQ?

I have tried the evaluation on the Quebec site and the results said it seems I'm eligible to apply, I speak good French and English as well as have relatives here, but the issue with my old school is bothering me.

Could anyone give an opinion on this?

Many thanks!

Icing,

Dont worry about that, they are not looking for the grades, what they will look at is if you got the degree, your work experience/field of experience and your french/english ability. I recently received my CSQ and had a class that i really struggled with (calculus I & II) but i got my degree in biochemistry and finishing my masters in may with work experience. When i went for the interview, the guy just wanted to see the copy of my diploma and the proof of work experience i had.
Hope that helps.
