Anyone have some experience answering question 7 on IMM0008
From what I understand the Quebec gov't is contacted after sponsorship is validated and the second step is underway. What does question 7 ask if you've contacted the Quebec government for a certificate if you haven't yet been approved?

Not sure what to answer here

Cheers

You leave it blank. They will put it in when you get the CSQ and send it to them.

Yep, that's it. It does create confusion though!

Once I got approved as sponsor, the letter form CIC clearly stated I had to file my CSQ forms. Please pay close attention to the forms as some of them will only be accepeted and processed when submitted in French. The English version is only a reference and will NOT be accepted!

Once the CSQ is approved (approx 20 working days), they send you a copy and one is sent directly to the Visa Office.

From my understanding, the sponsored person (the applicant) needs the original document in hand when they get to immigration in Quebec. In my case, I have to mail it to my husband before he gets on the plane in Accra.
