Hi everyone, long time reader, I posted this in the Quebec thread but had no response so I'm helping someone here can help me...
Anyway, I have a question - I've looked everywhere for a similar situation but can't find one. My spouse (from Quebec) and I are living in Australia and applied for out land spousal sponsorship which has been approved (CoPR received but not yet moved). We originally intended to move to Toronto and as such never had to apply for a CSQ.
However, my spouse has now changed her mind and wishes to move back to Quebec to be closer to her family. Obviously I know that we could just move back however we want to do this properly and obtain a CSQ. Has anyone been in this situation, or does anyone know what the process would be for obtaining a CSQ after federal (CiC) spousal approval? Is it as simple as applying to the MICC using the kit and including a copy of my CoPR in that package?
I am worried that because we are outland and applied on the basis of us moving to Toronto, if we change our story we may have to go through the whole application process again. Any help would be great! Thanks so much.
