CSQ and Federal timeline

Hello,

I recently got an invitation to apply for CSQ and did so, but have been wondering if that affects the timeline for permanent residence. Does the federal gvt keep working on the file, or does the file pause until they receive CSQ?
P.S: Inland Spousal sponsorship and not Outland
