Hi Experts,

I have seen many getting CRS scores between 450 t0 470.
I am 37 yrs, MSCIS + BCA, 12 years experienced in SAP ABAP+Workflow, CLB7. I also have a sister having PR. Spouse is BE + CLB7

I am just getting 322 CRS points. Am I calculating it the wrong way? I have used online assesment calculator.
I have read that having CRS points lower than 450 will make your chances of getting picked very low from the pool.
So is it a good idea to go ahead with 322 points?
What are the chances that I might get a job offer with my SAP skillset.

Have you converted your degree? Your language scores are a problem.

I still did not get my ECA but I have used the sample degree conversion from WES website and and I got result as bachelors degree.

I dint write IELTS yet. Do you think getting good scores in IELTS drastically push up my score. My current score is 322.

I know I am loosing points in the AGE section drastically, as 37 years just give me 60 points.

A score of CLB 10 could push it up 50+ points.

your biggest issue is your age over there. With that you will loose 40 points on the spot without any possibility to get them back.
So with that said, unless you will get ECA with 2 diplomas or higher (Master, PHD), max language points for both languages (CBL 10 for English and French), and max. points from your spouse (CBL 8 for 1 language, Master or PHD degree), you will be not be able to ever touch score of 450 points.

Your only option instead of hassling for CBL 9 and then still getting around 410 to 420 points max, are provincial nominations.
So just check PNP programs a prepare yourself to jump to one that suits you as soon as it will reopen.

You are right Vensak.

I happen to recalculate my points ( I was not adding my language points correctly ). I now get a total of 423 points provided I get atleast score of CBL 9. Is 423 also not good score to go ahead without PNP?

Does PNP nomination charge more fees than the normal process.
I am very unsure of PNP process although the EE is very crystal clear.
Who to approach for PNP? and I need to keep eyeing for my eligibility for suitable PNP nominations which are usually changing, do I need to go through a consultancy ( I doubt they help with that one ).

There is a thread with all listed PNP options in the main forum section. Check there first. Find which province might be potentially fitting in. From then on, even if that one is closed at the moment, keep eye on that Province frequently and get all the documents in advance (except of proof of funds). Then you can react within hours to put your application fast enough. (yes sometimes when opened, they are filled in within few hours).
Going for CBL 9+ has only sense if you want to hit Ontario human capital (catch is that we do not know properly if the point requirements will remain the same there).
