Hello,

I am currently residing in Canada. I have cumulative one year Canadian skilled work experience (6 months - NOC B from Nov 2016 to May 2017; 6 moths - NOC A from April 2018 to October 2018). I have completed my Bachelors degree from Canadian University. Before creating my profile, I checked my point on Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool: skilled immigrants (Express Entry), which gave me point of 451. When I created my express entry profile, the point I received is only 395. It doesn't show the points for study in Canada, and Skill transferability factor point: Canadian and foreign work experience and official language proficiency and foreign work experience.

Although, I don't have any foreign work experience but it still gives me 26 points in crs tool for Canadian and foreign work experience, and official language proficiency and foreign work experience, which was missing into my express entry profile.

Please advise if I am missing any information to input into my express entry profile.

Thanks,

Abdullah

When did you appear in Bachelors Degree?
As per CEC guidelines,

Self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (such as a co-op work term) doesn’t count under this program.

For Canadian education points, there is a separate option.

Hi

i am working for an employer for a year with the employer-specific work permit. I answered yes for the job offer. i got 50 points for the job offer. now it is asking me for a letter of employment and job offer letter. can you please explain to me the format of these two letters and difference please?

is it compulsory to work for the same employer after PR if you accept the job offer now and gets the points? and do employer have to mention on the offer that I will be working for the same employer after PR?

Please advise me.

i have 20days to accept the invitation and upload the docs.

Thanks

What is the difference between the Letter of Employment and job offer and employment records??

if there is any difference please explain what to include in these letters.

Thanks
Letter of Employment : Another name for reference letter which should state your working hours, roles and responsibilities and salary (optional). This should be printed on company's letter head.

Job Offer : An offer from Canadian employer for a job, should be 12 months long at least and LMIA should be included for PR.

Employment records : offer letter, appointment letter, salary slips and promotion letters.

If i am working with one company on an employer-specific work permit. what kind of job offer they should provide me? I mean, the context of the job letter from the same company. i worked for a company for one year and now i got invitation under CEC with a job offer but i have the same job and it is the permanent fulltime and continuous job. Can i provide same job offer letter which they give me when i got hired the first time or i need to ask for a new job offer letter?

Please Advise
Thanks

You will have to get Job offer + LMIA to claim "job offer" points. CEC points are different from job offer. You will need new job offer which should be for 12 months duration and LMIA to claim those 50 points.

but In my Case, I am Exempt from LMIA. my job is under NOC B. I was student in Canada before.

hi

thanks for your reply.

I do not have LMIA. I studied in Canada and got my Open work permit and after getting PNP under Non-EE Category. I applied for a work permit extension which went under my employer because i got PNP because of that job.

I only worked for one employer in Canada.

I got points for one year experience in Canada with the same company under NOC B. This is my permanent job. i got job offer points because i answered yes in job offer question in EE profile. I am doing the same job after the invitation.

My Question is:

CIC ask me for work experience letter for one year. which i can provide by getting a reference letter from the same company and payslips. but they are also asking for a job offer letter. now my confusion is that what my employer should mention in this letter and the content and date of that letter issued??
because i am already working for them. how come they can give me another job offer as i am already employed with them? I have good relations with my employer so they are ready to write anything for me but what to write and in what content is a problem?

Can someone help me please??

Thanks
