CRS 470, PGWP expires in 1 year, LMIA offer

Hi,

My CRS points are too low to get an ITA any time soon. I still have 1 year on my PGWP but it will get me only a few points.

I just got an LMIA offer, but if I accept it, I will nolonger be able to work for another employer because it comes with a closed work permit. I want to work for the company, but I also do freelance creative work which I don't want to give up.

Do I wait until my PGWP is about to expire and take up my employer's LMIA offer? Or do I accept the LMIA offer and work for one employer? Is it too risky to wait?

accept it, when you are PR you can quit and the closed work permit doesn't have any effect to your status.

I currently have 1 full time job in NOC B. I am working 40hrs per week (M-F). Been working on this for 2 years.

I recently got another job as a cook and I will work 30hrs per week - which will be considered as another full time job. Employer will give me LMIA for this position. I will be working on my PGWP with this LMIA. I will not process my close work permit until my PGWP is almost expiring.

I have my CEC express entry profile now. I have 415 CRS score.

I have couple of questions:

1. If I got LMIA on the cook job, will I get 50 CRS score? even though my primary occupation on my profile is the other NOC B job?
2. is it possible if I can still work on 2 job at the same time even though I have 1 job that will give me LMIA? (not close work permit yet)

1. Yes, you will get the 50 CRS points. Although, it needs to be your primary occupation.
2. You can keep both your jobs, but LMIA one needs to be your primary one until your PGWP expires (since it's open)
