I have a record in ireland which was a suspended sentence of 3months for 5years...i was 19 & i am now 26 .that was completed 1.5years ago & i have'nt reoffended.I want to move to canada & work there as i lived there in the past & also have friends & relations there.Will my record stop me getin a visa even though i have served my time?????

Yes........you must have at least 5 years since your sentence ended and then can apply for rehabilitation.....until then you are inadmissible to Canada i am afraid as you were charged and convicted of a crime.
