How long do criminal record checks stay valid....I did mine like 26/05/2014...about 9 months ago now...Can i use the same to apply P.R or a i have to do a new one....I was also not finger printed...Is finger printing mandatory when applying P.R??

CIC must receive the Police check certificate with in 90 days of original issuance. So yes you would need a new one. I believe it is a requirement to have the finger prints done as well. My wife had hers done.

Depends what countries you've been in and what country you're applying from if you require finger prints or not.
