Criminal Checks For Summer Programs

Im assuming there are a lot here that the dream to live in Canada has stemmed from the 'travel bug' picked up when we were younger. My question to anyone who has done this is, one of the requirements is a police check from any country you have lived in for more than 6 months. Now is that 6 months in one go, or 6 months cumulative? For example, whilst at university i worked in summer camps in the US for 8 weeks at a time, i did that 3 times over 4 years. Cumulatively thats 6 months but it was 6 separate programs that were really only 2 months. would i need a police check for PR for that?

6 months cumulatively. If you have +180 days or more in a country since you turned 18 you need a police check. FBI check take months so order yours now.
