Creditor after 6.5 years.

I left Canada in 2007. I closed down my phone, cable tv, and internet at the time and they said on the phone it's okay.

I just got a letter this week since I landed here in Canada after 7 years almost a creditor send me a bill for $700.

Is there a limit to how long they can come after you in Ontario?

I would not be paying $700 if I didn't use the services.

They send bills to catch suckers who would pay by scaring them. If you have evidence you left the country in 2007 and you came now, fight the bill.
