I see that the credits for this program is 36 hours - that was what I was after. Reading through posts I understand , 57 credits is required to get a 3 year WP.

I am about to complete my master in dec 2011. i started it in sep 2010. Maximum time given to me was 2 years but i completed it in 16 months. I have taken 10 courses. each course was a semester course and 3 credit hours each course. For how long work permit i am eligible for ?? Can you tell me that ? What is the criteria to determine the length of the work permit you are eligible for ??

How can we find out how many credit hours are there in our program? and let says if I am getting 42 credit in 1 year i.e. 8 month program can I then apply for some course that gives me 20 more credit and I can be eligible for 3 year work permit. Is that possible? I am not sure if this question sounds right but anyone who can explain

Each program has its set up credits amount. To get your degree (certificate/diploma) you have to take those credits. There are not "more credits" for that particular program. If , for ex., there are 60 credits program , for getting your PG diploma you have to take 60, and taking 63 is not possible. You can take more courses if you are still on SP, but it will not be an academic program and it will be doing nothing with PGWP.
