Credential evaluation

HI,

Would anybody please explain about Credential Evaluation??Do we need to complete evaluation before entering Canada?
Are there any advantages to get evaluation done before landing?(For getting job)
I am in Nutrition field.I have completed my MS in Nutrition from USA.
Any suggestions would help.

Credential evaluation is ok but without having it will not make much difference. Mostly, the employers don't ask it. Once you are granted Canada PR means your degree is accredited (in the country you obtained it). Accreditation would not add much value in it or will not help you much in fetching a good job.
