So I have been thinking...
There is so much useful information on this forum but it is often in many different threads, you have to search for it and you might be missing useful information that you don't even know to search for. Also a lot of the same questions get asked over and over again and there are so many wonderful members who take the time to respond but perhaps it makes sense to have a lot of the frequently asked questions/tips etc. in a sort of guide format. This thread can be sticked at the top of the forum and perhaps no one can even add replies to it. I have seen this on other forums before and have often found it helpful.
What do you guys think?
Things that need to be considered:
- getting in touch with a moderator - to see if they agree, will "sticky" the thread, and if a thread can be created which no one could reply to
- who would write the guide? I wouldn't mind contributing to it (copying and pasting a lot of the great responses on here), but I'm not an expert and would definitely need help
- more importantly, who would update it? things are always changing and it would need some updating from time to time
I'm sure there are more points that need to be considered but I would love some initial feedback...
So thoughts?!?
