Hi. Our family became CPR and landed in Canada 5 years ago. However, due to important health issues with some relatives back in our native country, my wife and I had to left Canada some time ago and then we are not meeting the "time in Canada (2oo5 y)" requirement. However, our daughters have remained studying in Canada, and this year they have to renew their CPR cards after the inicial 5 years period. They will meet the required 2 out of 5 years in Canada, and wish to renew their CPR and remain in Canada.

Hence, as our daughters -whom are minors (less than 18 yo) will have to do the CPR process by themselves, can anybody please let us know how they can proceed in this case ?

1. They complete the application, sign it, send it to you to sign as well, unless they have legal guardian in Canada who can sign for you. I assume they are over 14 years of age and under 18.

  • application.
  • If you are 14 years of age or more but less than 18 years of age: Your application must be signed by you and one of your parents or a legal guardian.
