CPP-Ottawa Passport Processing Time for Paper TRV Application

I submitted my paper TRV application and it reached the office on Oct 4.

Wondering if anyone submitted an application around that time and got any feedback?

Hi all, today the CIC website updated the timeline for Paper TRV Application, they are working on applications received on Oct 8. Mine was received on Oct 4 but still no news!!! Anyone?

Hi everyone, is there anyone of you here encountered the same problem that im going through now.i sent my application for trv in ottawa last oct.18,but i didnt read the dirsctions carefully so i made a mistake by enclosing a prepaid fed ex envelop instead an expresspost,since i sent my application in ottWa via fed ex too.Now im worried since they might discard it,and just send it via regular mail,once my application is finalized.my question is how many days do u normally receive ur passport via regular mail.can i still send a prepaid expresspost since my papers are still in process at this time.if il do.how will they know that its mine,please advice me on what to do...

I wouldn't worry much. Fedex will deliver your package to CIC Ottawa and they will admit it. As for return envelope, you are right they won't use it - instead they'll send you via regular mail. But I don't see that as a problem because regular mails are mostly just as safe as registered mail, except without a tracking number on it. There is no evidence that regular mails will take much longer for delivery.

Seriously? Did you file an online or paper application? When did CIC receive it?

Hi,
Currently i am in Canada & i will be filling paper TRV application soon.
I see there is one form (Schedule 1 – Application for Temporary Resident Visa (IMM5257)) which needs to fill if required. I dont know whether i need to fill this or not? Can someone help me to determine in which case this needs to fill?

this form needs to fill ONLY If you answered 'Yes' to any of the question from 3 to 6 in background section of IMM5257 form

They received it last Oct.18,mine is a paper application.i tthink i have to postpone my trip its to tight now.

I have following queries regarding paper TRV, applying within Canada:
1). Do i need to fill Family Information (IMM 5645) form?
2). Can i file visa for dependent family members who are on visitor record alongwith my application? Someone was telling CPP-Ottawa send that application outisde of canada because they only process application with valid WP or Study visa. Is anyone filed the paper TRV with family members on visitor record?
3). Do I need photographer stamp mentioning date when photo was taken & address on back of photos?
