CPCO Final email doubts

Hello everyone! I have been a silent follower of this site and it has helped me immensely and thanks to everyone for their valuable insights!
I have a few doubts and queries... Hope to receive help.
I have been in the process to acquire Canada PR, and my husband and I have completed most of the process in the past one year. We had submitted our profile in July 2018 and, in the beginning of this week, we have received an email, CPCO/Final request. Now before getting too excited, I have a few doubts regarding the same... I hope the stalwarts can help me out with this. I have read the other threads but inferiorities and insecurities have got the best of me... So please do suggest and advice.
Question 1: The email we have received is not from the CIC ID... So hope this is not a hoax.
Question 2: Our online account is not updated yet, so can this be a false alarm?
Question 3: We have been asked to submit our passports and photographs, can there be any chance of further rejection?
Please do help us out with any insights regarding the above.

1. from which email did you get it?
2. it's normal, your application will get updated after stamping of visa.
3. almost zero

We received the email from the following ID-
IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

I am also a little afraid because I read somewhere recently that the passports may be asked even if a letter of rejection has to be issued. It is mentioned somewhere on the VFS website. Hence the insecurities.

If by CPCO you mean CPC CTD Ottawa then it's the right email address.
2. That's normal it'll change to Approved after COPR.
3. 99% chance that you'll get the COPR.

the email is correct. You are over thinking about rejection

Hello all / Vianna,
I also received this letter today. It asks for my passport but my profile is not updated at all.

Also, do we have to go for biometric later ??

Please advise.
