Hi

Has anyone experienced a delay from Canada Post express post sent to CPC Sydney PO Box 9500? My outland application had arrived in Sydney Nova Scotia on May 3rd, and my tracking # shows in transit every day since then. How is mail being collected from CPC Sydney PO Box 9500?

I have opened a ticket with Canada Post, but with no update.

I have also called Client Support Centre Hot Line 1-888-242-2100 to inquire if there's an issue with mail collection from the PO Box - The agent reported no issues on their end.

Hopefully, my experience below will comfort whoever is facing the same situation.

Outland Spouse Sponsorship application mailed to CPC Sydney PO Box 9500 with Canada Xpresspost.
  • Apr 22 - Tracking shows - item accepted at Canada Post
  • May 3 - Tracking shows - item arrived at Sydney, NS. This is the last known location, with no delivery confirmation
  • Every day since May 3, tracking shows "In Transit" - No delivery confirmation was ever updated
  • May 5 - Canada Post service ticket opened - Canada promised to reply by May 31 - never received a reply or update
  • Jun 11 - Received UCI and Application No from IRCC
  • Jun 11 and on - Canada Post tracking is still showing "In Transit"
