CPA CFE (Indian CA) on Open Work Permit

I am a member of ICAI India and based on the MOU, I only have to appear for CFE and all other programs are exempt.

Currently, I am on an open work permit . Based on the work permit, I am not eligible to attend any educational institution or take any academic, professional or vocational training course, unless authorized. But also I can see on the IRCC website that short term courses (< 6months) do not require study permit.
I am also not able to find CPA Ontario on the designated learning institution list.

Any idea whether any permit is required to appear for a 4 day final exam?

But it is a professional exam, isn't it? Maybe get a professional advice rather than assumptions and putting your permit at risk.
