Hi to all!!!

I just like to seek any idea on how to write or what have to mention in a cover letter to address the reason of previous refusal.. I was refused for this reason "family ties in the Philippines and in Canada... I want to make a cover letter stressing that I have a strong family ties here in the Philippines even I am a single but I still have and old aged parents which i have to be back here after my contract is ended. My parents need me to look after them especially I am the only one who is still single and all my brothers have their own families already and besides i am the only daughter so i have the full responsibilities of taking care of them. Do you think i have strong evidence to address my refusal.

Guys what are the other points to consider showing strong family ties that I have to mention in my cover letter? Is it needs to be notarized?

Thank you...

The reasons you have given are good enough. But there are some factors as well, do you have a stable job there in the Philippines? They will look at it too. You have to have a good job record. Meaning, you still have a work opportunity when you come back to the Philippines.

As for me when I applied in 2009, I was single but I have a son, and my parents are still there. And I have a good work record.
