Your choice of program must make sense based on your previous education and work experience or you must explain why you are changing fields of study and why you must study this course in Canada.

You need to explain why you want to change fields. You can’t just say you want to expand you knowledge because you could have done that at home.

Universities and colleges are driven by revenue from international students and has no bearing on whether a study permit is granted other than an offer is a prerequisite. You will need to wait to see if IRCC consider it a reasonable direction or not.

Agree getting into many of the college programs is easy.
