So this is my issue..
Iv been accepted at humber for 2 yr pg certificate in jan 2014 while I'm still waiting for response from Seneca for an 8 months certificate programme. What I truly want to do is get 2 yr permit on basis of humber programme and if I've made it to Seneca, take a refund from Humber and instead join Seneca. After completing Seneca, I want to join a 2 yr diploma ( after grade 12 level) in Alberta college for which I've applied already.
The reason I'm not applying for this Alberta programme directly is cus I already have bachelors so visa may be rejected due to academic regression.
I have alternatively also applied for another 16 month Alberta diploma programme which starts in January itself. so another course of action would be to go on basis of humber visa and take refund and head for the Alberta programme. This way I won't have to seek extension of my study permit.
Therefore, my queries are:
1.what if I get a permit and arrive on the basis of humber LOA and then want to move to towards the 16 month Diploma? Would I Still need to inform them? And can I even do this legally?
2. Secondly, if i join Seneca first and then move towards the 2 yr or 16 month alberta diplomas (admission being deferred to September intake) then do I need to inform CIC or take prior permission as I'm downgrading from pg course to normal diploma course? In this case as my Alberta course would be longer than my permit duration, do I ask for extension at the time of informing/requesting for course change, or 3 months prior to permit termination? Thirdly, do I just need to inform or is it a permission which could possibly be rejected?????
Thank u all!!!!!
