I just want to know if the country of citizenship and country of Residence are the same. Do i put Canada as i am already here or my home country?

Your country of citizenship is where you were born unless you acquired the citizenship from any other country after you were born. Your country of residence is where you are living in this moment. In this case Canada will be your country of residence.

I have been staying in the US for sometime now; however, I filled India as my country of residence, since I am not a legal resident of USA as I am on H1B visa, which is that of a non-resident alien status;
Alberta has provided my nomination under AINP & I have applied the same to Buffalo for Federal processing.

applied in Sept 2008, received pre-assess letter by Oct 2008, sent for nomination Nov 1st week 2008, received nomination in end Jan 2009; sent for Federal in April mid 2009; intend to go to Alberta, but not before spring next year; hopefully will get a job there. job market is very bad; NOC - 2173
