Counting work experience as a full time intern outside Canada for fsw

Hi, I had worked as a full-time salaried intern in the USA for 7 months in 2017 during my masters study and I have the reference letter that mentions my job responsibilities, work hours, and salary. will it be possible to add this work experience to gain points for FSW? I had worked as a full-time lecturer in a university in my country for 2 years and 9 months so this will be my primary noc. I want to add my 7-month internship experience as secondary so that I can get points for 3 years of work experience for FSW.
