Counting PR residency obligation days

Dear All -

As you all know that date of landing as PR and PR card issuing date are different (difference of 90 days). So, as far counting of 730 days is needed for renewing PR card does it starts from date of landing or CIC goes from date when PR card was issued?

Could a person be able to apply for PR card renewal from outside Canada?

The residency obligation is calculated from your date of landing, regardless of the issuance or expiry date on your PR card.
