The rules are clear that you need to stay 730 days in last 5 years to renew PR, and 1095 in last 5 years to be eligible for Citizenship
My query is, suppose I had to stay 2.5 years out of Canada then I move, I can still achieve 2 years to renew PR, however for citizenship do I have to stay another 3 years (considering I dont have enough time to be eligible) or does the 2 years of PR count towards citizenship (it is 3 years out of lastv5 regardless when I became a PR)
If any official guide is available on this do share

It's the same rolling method. At the time of applying for citizenship, you will have to show that you lived in Canada for 1095 days in the past five years from that day.

If you apply today (May 14, 2019), you will have to show physical presence of 1095 days in Canada from May 13, 2014 - May 13, 2019.

You can use the official calculator to verify that you have the correct number of days.
