counterbalance forklift driver

i'm currently under going my counterbalance forklift test and i am looking to apply for a work permit in about a year's time, I'm wonder if i've got my forklift certificate would it count in canada or would i need to go through the whole thing again??

You might have to take it again. Might also depend on where you are from if Canada acknowleges your training. I don't know what a counter balance forklift looks like but they use small forklifts at my workplace and from the guys who have been to the training for that, they say it's a joke.
