Hello all,
I have applied for Citizenship in October 2018 from Edmonton and had my Test and interview on 3rd May 2019.
After clearing the test, I was interviewed by 2 officers. The first interviewer reviewed my file and verified all the stamps in my passports and asked about my employment.
Since I am self employed (work as a contractor in IT), the IO said my file needs to be reviewed by a different officer and asked me to wait till someone calls me.
The 2nd IO called me and we reviewed the file together. Asked me a few questions about my employer and noted all my answers on the file. After the QA session, IO asked if I had data on my phone and asked me to pull my I94 from the official website and said that that's the only verification pending for approval of my file.
We both tried accessing my I94 history, but we kept getting the "No Records found" message. However, we were able to find the Most Recent I94. I remember saving a copy of my I94 history before my application and informed the same to IO. She asked me where I lived and if I can get it before 4PM (it was 3:30 at that time) and I said it would take at least an hour. So the IO gave me a form with my file # and other details and asked me to get the I94 on Tuesday between 3 and 3:30 PM.
My questions:
1. Is there a way to get the most recent I94? (Order it from somewhere)
2. I did find the copy of my I94 history which is dated June 2017 and it has a header and a watermark "U.S Customs and Border Protection" and typically looks like an excel sheet.
Will the officer accept the document from June 2017? (There are no travels after whats listed on the document) And the new format of printing the I94 has a proper logo unlike watermark.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
