Hello guys;.

I am 28 years old, from Turkey.

I graduated from Galatasaray High school and İstanbul University department of translation and interpreting in French(Bachelor). I started University in 2007 , however due to some personal issues including economic ones I had to freeze my registration and make a living. I had worked in several places until my graduation and also set up my own business and run it for a while.

So far I have worked in a private turkish bank headquarters in customer relations department as an assistant specialist for a year, then in my own restaurant which I set up with three other shareholders and run for 16 months so in a valuable entertainment company as the social media editor, interviewer and TV programme editor and also restaurant and kitchen executive for two and a half years. After I quit my job there I founded 2 fast food brands of my own and sold them after a year which was followed by my decision to graduate from University as I got over the financial difficulties by turning that period into a productive learning process. In 2016 I finally graduated.

The biggest difficulty I faced while I was working ( and probably I will face in the future ) was that I wasn't a university graduate. I think in order to secure my future it is essential for me to get a degree in this field and as a result of my search "Culinary Management" programme meets my career goals and I see it as a must for myself to finish it. Furthermore I would like to be able to take part in the kitchen management and be qualified enough. All these will allow me to go after my dream and turn it into a reality which is opening my own place as both a chef and an owner.

My family also had a catering firm and my mum had her own diner, so since my childhood I have been in the center of gastronomy business. To sum up I can say that we are all passionate about cuisine culture as a family and to crown this passion with a diploma and reach the position of a chef will be very honorary not only for me but also for my family.

I assume Cullinary Management programme of George Brown College are perfect for me related to their curriculum and international success and Canada is also very ahead of Turkey will bring me lots of new experiences. Its inevitable contribution to my level of English is a great advantage as well.

I would like to state that I have 100K CAD for my Canada plan. My level of English acoording to ILAC online exam is pre-advanced (score 10 ). I have advanced level of French and Intermediate level of Italian.

As for my request from you, I would like you to inform me about the requirements I need to meet along with the procedure I need to follow to get a student visa. I am not really sure if my level of English is high enough to roll into the programme and if it is not, do I have the chance to study English under a pathway program then start the programme ? To sum up, am I elligible for a student visa?

I look forward to your reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you in advance guys.
