Could there really be a CRS minimum of 453?

Hi Guys,

Is it really possible that the lowest cic will go is 453 as some are speculating?

If this is the case am in real trouble as my score is 455 but its my birthday in a few days.

It would be stated if something like this would exist.

Yes, entirely possible.

Even if 450 is the unofficial cap, that means nothing for tomorrow. Tomorrow, they could have an economic expansion, need more immigrants, and lower the score. Or, they could issue a bunch of LMIAs and raise it.

It depends on the economy, and the politics.

As for the specific number, this year they have stated that they are working to close the large backlog. It's entirely possible that scores this year will be higher than next year.

It's not stated anywhere that lowest draw will be 453. The fact that thats been the lowest draw so far doesnt really mean anything in terms of future draws

I received an ITA with 456 when threshold was 453 back in April.

I just hope it is not 453 coz i am standing at 451
