Could inconsistency between EE profile and submitted application be an issue?

Hi Seniors,

I have a question regarding inconsistency between EE profile and submitted application. I would really appreciate it if anyone can share your opinions.

I created my EE profile in August 2015, in Work Experience section, the content is like below:

Primary NOC Code: AAA
Work History:
1- Company A, Work as NOC Code AAA description, more than 1 year, till present;
2- Company B, Work as NOC Code BBB description, less than 1 year;
-----
Back then, I thought I should provide as much information as I could, so I put work history 2 here although it won’t be calculated into scores and it is not my primary job type.

After I got ITA, I searched for previous threads about work experience and luckily got help from many of you seniors, I realised that if you are not claiming points by one job, you don’t need to put it into work history, you can put it into personal history instead. And that was what I did. I uploaded experience letter PDFs for work history 1, and just described work history 2 in Personal History section(without proof letter).

However, some ppl mentioned in a local IM group that it could be risky to have difference between EE profile and submitted application, and it is safer to upload experience letter for all the jobs I had/have.

I haven't find specific case like this in the rejected reason thread yet. But do you think it is safer to initiate a CSE to add experience letter PDFs for work history 2?

(BTW, I submitted application in mid October, medical was received a few days later, but no update or ghost emails since.)

My only experience which I am writing a Letter of Explanation to explain the difference between information in initial and subsequent profiles:

1) One of my work experience periods was from January 2007 - May 2009. In initial profile I accidentally input 'January 2007 - March 2009. - My silly mistake

2) Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (for which I have a WES Assessment). After I graduated they merged with another Accounting body to be come the 'Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand'. This problem I could do nothing about. Even my 'Letter of Good standing is in the new stationery. I contacted them but they said they could not issue a new certificate with the new stationery.

Hope these 2 things don't cost me.

Thanks for you replay @JoacRy, in my case, the job information such as start and end date is the same, I just moved the description from Work History to Personal History.

I guess I should've explained the difference between profile and application like you did.

Doesn't matter. The only time an officer might check the pre-ITA application is if there were material differences between the 2 applications leading to an increase/decrease in CRS before and after ITA. In your case, there was no change to the CRS so there is nothing to be explained here.

No LoE is required in this case... when the VO checks S/he will understand the reason why you shifted your previous job experience (for which you are not claiming CRS points) from work history to the personal history section.
