Could I travel to US with Canadian Student Visa?

Hi,
I would like visit US in this June, but I'm not sure if I could apply for the visa or not. I have a Canadian Student Visa. However, I've not enter the main program yet. I just study the EAP program, which will finish at the end of May. Since my main course begins in September, I want to spend the gap to travel US. Could my application be approved or I have to wait until I enter the main program?

No you cant enter the USA with a Canadian Study Permit

Unless on a US visa exempt passport you Would need to apply for a US visa like everyone else, a Canadian study permit doesn’t give you any rights to enter the US. No way to predict if you would be approved for a US visa you will just have to apply and see.
