So I wanted to get your opinion. Quite expectedly, the application file to sponsor my wife was rejected for the following reasons:
- Apparently the forms we had filled out and signed were older versions that are no longer in use
-Certain parts of the forms were apparently not filled out and signed
-A bit more information was needed with regards to certain parts of the forms
I found all of this incredible because that's what I had paid the said lawyer to do and it was his place to have provided us with the up to date versions of the respective application forms and ensure that all of the necessary sections of the form were signed. I also found it strange that the lawyer in question is only now providing me with that information by email after I had filed a complaint with the appropriate authorities of his juridiction who are now looking into the matter.
I therefore wanted to ask:
-Is it possible for me to take a chance and try to apply for my wife either through the Expess Entry or Quebec Skilled Worker options? Might anyone have an idea of how long either of the two options could take if I began to do the paper work a little after I return to Canada this summer? I am looking for the shortest possible option that could permit me to reunite with her and our child as soon as possible. I foresee that until I get a stable job in the Quebec area, the sponsorship option might be difficult for me to consider considering the fact that there is a question on one of the forms about the spouse's employment in Canada.
