could I change to express entry

Hello
I send my CEC application at 2014-10-07(Oct-07).
Until now I didn't get any answer from CIC.
I have 2 years work experence as a physics postdoctor.
I have a work permit now which will expire next Oct.1.
Could I change to Express Entry.
Or could I wait for the answer then apply for Express Entry?
Should I gather all the docmuments again or just find a form?

Why would you want to change to EE?

Isn't it AOR takes 2+ months now? So possibly you are too early to ask whether you are in.

As you say you have a little more than 1 year left in your work permit so you are not in a hurry of applying. Might as well wait for AOR decision first.

CEC is a fail/pass so you are certain that gonna get approval provided you have documents done right. EE is very uncertain and lack of information (as of now)

did you try applying for EE? I submitted my application last November and doing a second application thru EE could be an option right now but I don't know the consequences if it fails. Any info?

Hi

I applied for FSWP in Oct. Got my CIC acknowledgement and file number last week. Any risk in applying through EE now to speed up the process?

Also i want to study when I land. Is it a good idea to apply for university admission now, land as a student and eventually apply for PR?

Whatever you do PLEASE do not withdraw your CEC application. That would be a mistake.
