Could Bursaries from the university affect my future PR application. plz help

Hi All,

I am a graduate student at the University of Alberta. I am going to apply for a bursary but I am worried if that may affect my future application for the permanent residence or not. If they have a concern with somebody ho take bursaries from their government. I appreciate your help all. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. But it is a public university. I don't understand what you mean by The bursaries are not from the government. I understand that if this is a public university then it is funded by the government

Just because it is public doesn't mean they don't have private funding, through tuition fees from domestic and international students, grants, donations, sponsorships, etc.
