My application asks for the cost of my studies, is this requesting information for just one year or the full cost of my studying at the university?
Finding the number is not so straight forward also because of a few reasons. For one, I'm currently living with my Canadian fiance who is supporting me until I'm allowed to work. For my first 1.5 years I'll be paying international student prices, then (assuming my PR visa application has no major hiccups after our wedding) I'll be paying the standard rate (again, given nothing goes wrong with applications). I'm currently also unsure as to how long my program will take, being either 2.5 or 3.5 years as my previous academic credentials have yet to be finished transferring, I may not have to take certain classes again.
I am aware you need to prove straight away you have one full year tuition plus living fees [around $10,000]. I was accepted for a student loan, allowing me $15,000 each year for three/four years, I am not paying a rent or mortgage since I live with my fiance and he earns enough to support us both for bills and living costs. Would my loan and proof of his earnings (with a letter of explanation attached to the application) suffice?
Any help/advice is welcome, thank you
