Hi All,

My education is as follows (all completed in India)

1. Bachelor's in Engineering (4 years) - ECA obtained showing Canada Equivalency.
2. Pre-university college (under graduate 10+2) (2 years)
3. 10th Grade

When i go into the express entry profile, CIC has removed the option of "Two or more post secondary credentials with at least one being 3 years or more". The only option i have to select is "Three years or more post secondary credentials". With this, i gather only 112 points, whereas the CRS calculator shows that i should have got 119 points. As a cascading affect, my skill transferability combo is also giving me only 25 out of 50 points. My question

- Should i get my ECA for pre-university college?
- If no, what am i doing wrong in the entry since in the education section of express entry profile they ask for ECA on every row.

To get the points, you just need to add 2 post-secondary credentials (with one being more than 3 years) in your EE profile. The system will automatically calculate it as "Two or more post secondary credentials..." and award you points for that.

Every non-canadian credential you include will require an ECA – if you want to earn points for your second credential, you must get it assessed.

To clear the confusion, "secondary" in Canadian terms means 10+2 a.k.a. "senior secondary" in India. Hence, you just have one post-secondary credential. Only if you do a Masters (like M-Tech), you'd have two post-secondary credentials.

However, other experienced members, correct me if I am wrong.
