Hi all,,,
I am confuse about translation of document, I am sponsoring my common law partner and he is Vietnamese
According to the CIC website it says that
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document..
However the specific instruction for South East Asia and Pacific is different
"Send photocopies of all other documents,
unless instructed otherwise. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals".
So does my partner have to send copy of the originals or certified copy of the original document?
Thanks for advance,,
