Copy of letter of acceptance OK?

Hi all, I'm coming over to Canada to study at Columbia college for the mid-term intake but wanted to go over early to get used to the area. I am planning to leave for Canada this Saturday. My problem is that my university have not yet sent out my official acceptance letter for the program. I have the pdf copy of the acceptance letter which I was able to get a my study permit approved with from the embassy, will this be enough for me to get my actual study permit once I arrive at immigration in Canada or does that letter have to be the original?

Yes, I applied with a printed email and got approved so it's ok for me to use the printed email to get through immigration In Canada and be given my actual study permit in my passport?

That is a printed copy of my letter of introduction and a printed copy of my letter of acceptance from Columbia? Anyone able to confirm this? It means the difference between me sleeping tonight of not :-[
