copy of all pages of passport needed or not?

As per the checklist they Only ask to send pages that has all stamps and your information, Leave the black pages.

But i did send all the pages with my application, as my lawyer said ther's no harm sending all the pages and btw just keep a paper clip if you choose to send all pages

Correct. Better submit too much information. I scanned each and every page with stamps or visas.

Checklist requires the copy of passport pages showing only personal information and passport No etc. It does indicate that you need to send the pages with past history of stamps?

I just send the page with personal info. But the memebers are right that no harm to send the other pages if you think they are relevant.

You're right. Maybe I confused that with work permit applications, however, I sent scans of each and every page with stamps or visas.

the page with the personal info is the only page required by CIC
as others have said, there is no harm to send extra
but you dont have to. I only sent the page with personal info and still got PR

I also only sent the page with the personal info. My philosophy is...follow the checklist and keep it simple. The VOs have hundreds of applicants, and therefore, thousands of pages of information they have to review. No need to add to that burden.

I agree. if youre missing a document on the checklist, thats an issue
but if its not requested on the checklist and cic wants to see it, theyll ask for it.
