Hello guys,
Could you please clarify it for me, I have received my passport with COPR, so I as understood I have two options to activate my PR, interview (which is way too long) and flagpool at the border.

So, I was wondering does this administrative refusal at US border will affect anything in the future (I do not have US visa, can't cross the border) ?

And one more, if I just have my passport with COPR, can I already change my SIN and rest of stuff or I need to do flagpool procedure first ?

Thank you

An admin refusal due to flagpoling has no future impact on any future US visa application. Land border officers at the major crossings are used to people flagpoling.

You would need to formally land as a PR to change anything given until you land you are still a temporary resident with no PR rights.

I'd suggest you try giving them a call for the landing process inland.
I too thought in similar ways as you, but tried giving IRCC a call, due to the increasing number of posts mentioning border securities unhappiness in dealing with border crossing landing. And to my surprise, IRCC agent said they will place an appointment request to the IRCC office and they will contact us. Agent said, it could take upto 4-6 weeks. And when I checked, she said, it is OK if I book an appointment and then go with border crossing. But please inform them so that they can update their local office.

But to my surprise, within a week, IRCC office called us and asked us if we can come that week for landing (which was just 2 days after). And it was all good.
