Hi,

We have received the COPR and planning to land to Canada by road soon.

Few questions
1- I found which documents are required Canada website. We are living in US with lots stuff (Including furniture and all) and I am planning to write the list of goods can we use the excel or we just have to declare in the form only?
2- We are planning to stay one day and then planning to come to US to take care of few things. What would be ideal to do ? Shall we come in our car or shall we rent the car?

Make sure to use the right form - either for goods accompanying you, or goods to follow (if you are bringing them later). If you bring your own vehicle at the time of landing, you will have to deal with the paperwork then.

Note that you have to both EXPORT the car from the USA and IMPORT it to Canada.

Thank you so much for info.

So if I am planning to drive with my own car I have to import/export there is no other option? I am planning to be there for 1 day only. Can I do export/import later on?

It will get a problem if rent the car?

Thought Jes answered that. " If you bring your own vehicle at the time of landing, you will have to deal with the paperwork then. "
Rental might be smart. Then play dumb and ask how to import your personal car. Since it's not there, they should give you all the instructions.
